Wild lands
Galapagos is an example of how eco-tourism can be used to protect wildlife. Every year over 100,000 tourists cruise the islands contributing to the local economy and funding the continued conservation of these amazing islands. On Española I found these nesting masked boobies in a very stark environment. Taken in Galapagos with a Nikon D3, 14-24mm lens, ISO 800

Saw Shelled Turtle
I have always had a soft spot for turtles so when I saw this chap in a small rainforest pond, I knew that I wanted the shot. So I quietly set up in a tree above and waited for the turtle’s inquisitive nature to get the better of it and check out the idiot hanging above the water! Taken in Australia with a Nikon D3, 200-400mm f4 VR lens, ISO 400
